Electronic Portfolio

I like the idea of the e-portfolios, less paper clutter.  However, I always worry about relying-on and putting everything in the computer cyberspace.  What will happen if the "system" crashes?  It must be the cynic in me that feels you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket.  Or, perhaps it's just the digital immigrant in me still holding on to old ways.  With that said, I do plan to explore e-portfolios for my classroom; once you know about the technology, you can't move backwards.
