Portrait of a "Digital Native"

Portrait of a Digital Native confirms, yet again, that I am a slow digital immigrant.  Fear describes surfing the web, talking on the phone, listening to music, texting/IMing, watching t.v. and doing homework, all at the same time - multitasking.  I get lost in cyberspace if I open to many tabs on my computer.  I use to wonder how my daughter could focus on homework with an ipod in her ear. the t.v. on, and the non-stop texting; but, she was focusing --- multi-focusing and multi-tasking.  Digital natives are born techno multi-taskers.
